(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 26 - The Fridays For Future movement of
young people demanding action to tackle the climate crisis have
said they will return to Rome's streets, but this time on
Saturday, the first day of the 2021 G20 Summit in the Italian
capital this weekend.
The movement started by Greta Thunberg's School Strike For
Climate protest said the young people will make their voices
heard against "the same powers, the same interests, the same
injustices that led us to the climate crisis".
The statement pointed out that 75% of global greenhouse gas
emissions come from G20 countries. (ANSA).
