Boy, 11, skips school to 'go and see Colosseum'

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 14 - An 11-year-old boy ducked out of school at Pontedera near Florence Wednesday and went to Rome in a bid to see the Colosseum but was stopped at Tiburtina train station.
    "I wanted to see he Colosseum," the boy reportedly told police when they found him.
    He had not got a ticket for the train and had dodged into the toilet every time he saw the conductor. (ANSA).
