(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 15 - The health ministry said Friday that
Italy has registered 16,146 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24
hours.
It said that 477 more coronavirus sufferers died in that time.
That was down from 17,246 new cases and 522 deaths on Thursday.
Italy's COVID-19 death toll has risen to 81,325.
The total number of registered cases here, including the
deceased, the recovered and the currently positive, is
2,352,423. (ANSA).
