(ANSA) - ROME, 25 NOV - Justice Minister Alfonso Bonafede
said Wednesday that 826 prison inmates in Italy were currently
positive for COVID-19 along with 1042 penitentiary operators.
He said 804 of the inmates were being treated in prison wards
and 22 in external health facilities.
Some 772 of the inmates are asymptomatic, he said. (ANSA).
