Coronavirus: Italy registers 114 new cases in 24 hours

COVID death toll up by 17 to 34,984

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 14 - Italy has registered 114 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to figures released on the civil protection department's website on Tuesday.
    That is down from the 169 new infections reported on Monday.
    It said 17 COVID-19 sufferers have died here in the last 24 hours, up from the 13 deaths reported Monday.
    Italy's overall coronavirus death toll now stands at 34,984.
    At the moment 12,919 people are positive for the virus here, down 238 with respect to Monday.
    The number of people to have recovered from COVID-19 here is up 335 to 195,441.
    The total number of confirmed cases in Italy, including the deceased, the recovered and the currently positive, now stands at 243,344, (ANSA).
