Man gave methadone to teens who died for 15 euros

(ANSA) - TERNI, JUL 9 - A drug addict gave methadone to two teenage boys who died from an overdose in Terni earlier this week for 15 euros, the man told police Thursday.
    The 40-year-old has confessed to giving them some of the methadone he gets from his drug addiction treatment facility.
    The two boys, aged 15 and 16, were found dead in their beds in their respective homes in the Umbrian town Tuesday morning.
    They spent Monday evening at a soccer field together, where the man said he gave them the methadone.
    The man said he gave them half an ampoule of the heroin substitute diluted in water. (ANSA).
