(ANSA) - MILAN, JUL 9 - Supplies of medical gowns were supplied and not gifted to the Lombardy health sector in a case of alleged graft involving a firm in which Governor Attilio Fontana's wife holds a stake, sources said Thursday.
Under investigation in the probe are the governor's brother-in-law Andrea Dini, who runs the DAMA company, and others.
They include the director general of Lombardy's purchasing body ARIA, Filippo Bongiovanni.
Those implicated have said the gowns were given as grants, and not sold to the region healthcare sector.
Among the possible charges is "rigging the choice of contractor". (ANSA).
