(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 9 - An Albanian ex-gangmaster operating in
the south of Italy in the 1980s and 1990s was extradited from
Tirana Thursday for allegedly murdering a 22-year-old Albanian
farm labourer at Foggia in 1991.
The 47-year-old, Luan Vrapi,, is accused of killing Telharaj
Hyso in cahoots with others.
Officers from the international police cooperation unit SCIP
escorted Vrapi out of Fiumicino Airport after he landed in Rome
Thursday morning.
He was handed over to prison officers in Bari. (ANSA).
