Boy, 10, dies of burns after science experiment

(ANSA) - TURIN, JUL 3 - A 10-year-old Italian boy on Friday died of burns sustained in a home science experiment near Turin on May 29.
    Riccardo Cesarino suffered critical burns to 60% of his body.
    The accident happened in his home at Collegno.
    He died in Turin's Regina Margherita children's hospital.
    The boy had tried an experiment called "The Pharaoh's Proof" in which bicarbonate is mixed with sand, sugar and alcohol, and it blew up in his face.
    He had had several operations, but never left the ICU. (ANSA).
