(ANSA) - Rome, June 4 - The Italian book industry is to get
40 million euros in the government's coronavirus relaunch
decree, Culture Minister Dario Franceschini said Thursday.
Franceschini signed two decrees to support bookshops and the
whole book publishing chain.
The measures triple tax credits for bookshops and boost the
acquisition of books by public libraries.
The are the first measures taken under the emergency cultural
business fund set up by the relaunch decree, with funding of 210
million euros this year.
