(ANSA) - Varese, June 3 - A 72-year-old woman killed her
94-year-old mother by hitting her on the head repeatedly with a
pointed object at Jerago con Orago near Varese Tuesday night,
police said Wednesday.
The victim's granddaughter, 44, reported the crime to police,
saying that her mother had attacked her grandmother for reasons
yet to be established, in the home they shared in the northern
Italian village.
