4,500 teachers to be hired (2)

(ANSA) - Rome, April 6 - The cabinet on Monday approved the hiring of 4,500 teachers to fill places left by teachers taking early retirement under the 'quota 100' scheme.
    The teachers, who are top of their points-based rankings or have passed entry exams, were unable to take up these positions last September because they had not yet been freed up.
