Coronavirus: no. of infected up 2,937

(ANSA) - Rome, April 1 - The Civil Protection Department said Wednesday that 13,155 people have now died with the coronavirus in Italy, 727 more than Tuesday. Tuesday's daily rise had been 837.
    It said 80,572 people are currently infected with COVID-19 in Italy, 2,937 more than Tuesday. The number of people infected had risen by 2,107 on Tuesday.
    The department said 16,847 people have now recovered from the coronavirus in Italy, 1,118 more than Tuesday. Tuesday's rise in recoveries had been 1,109.
    The overall number of cases in Italy, including those who have died and those who have recovered, is now 110,574.
