(ANSA) - Catania, December 13 - A 54-year-old woman was
arrested in Sicily on Friday for allegedly trying to kill her
20-year-old mentally disabled tetraplegic son.
The woman allegedly gave the son sedatives and then tried to
suffocate him by filling his mouth with paper soaked in perfume.
The man's carer thwarted the alleged attempted suicide and
the woman was arrested by province of Catania Carabinieri
police.
