(ANSA) - Rome, December 12 - A preliminary investigations judge said Thursday that the version of events of the girlfriend of personal trainer Luca Sacchi, who was shot dead outside a Rome pub last month, was "implausible". Last week Anastasiya Kylemnyk told the judge that she did not know about 70,000 euros allegedly contained in her backpack on the night of the homicide.
Investigators suspect that Sacchi was killed after a drugs deal went wrong and the cash was intended to be used to buy 15 kilogrammes of marijuana.
The judge also said the 25-year-old Ukrainian woman's story was "incomplete" in justifying the decision to reject her petition to be relieved of the obligation of having to regularly sign in with police.
Kylemnyk initially told police she had been attacked with a baseball bat and Sacchi was shot in the head after trying to defend her near the pub, the John Cabot.
In another development, the father of one of two men implicated over the homicide was informed he is suspected of handling the murder weapon, which has not yet been found.
Armando De Propris is the father of Marcello, the young man who allegedly gave the gun used in the attack to Valerio Del Grosso, the person suspected of actually shooting Luca Sacchi dead.
Armando De Propris was issued an arrest warrant although he was already in jail on drugs charges.
