(ANSA) - Bologna, October 23 - Finance police on Wednesday
carried out search operations in the regions of Emilia-Romagna,
Lombardy and Lazio as part of investigations into top executives
at stock exchange listed company Bio-on who are accused of stock
market manipulation and fraudulent communications.
A preliminary investigations judge (GIP) in Bologna ordered
the preventive detention of three top managers at the company.
Tax police seized assets worth 150 million euros as part of
the operation on Wednesday.
The publicly traded company based in Bologna operates in the
bioplastic sector.
