4 found guilty in Milan trash fire

(ANSA) - Milan, October 10 - Four people were found guilty for a huge trash fire that burned for days on the outskirts of Milan in October sending noxious fumes as far as the city centre.
    The four received jail terms of up to six and a half years.
    They were found guilty of illicit waste trafficking and storage and causing a toxic fire.
    The longest sentence was handed down on Aldo Bosina, head of the IPB Italia company which ran the warehouse.
    Bosina and the others were also sentenced to pay the city of Milan almost two million euros in damages.
    Property seizures of over one million euros were also ordered.
    The fire in Via Chiasserini broke out on October 14.
    It took firefighters over two days to tame it.
