(ANSA) - Ancona, August 23 - Ancona prosecutors are seeking
22 indictments in the 2017 collapse of a bridge on the A14
motorway that killed two people and injured another three.
The bridge collapsed on March 9 that year.
It occurred between the Ancona South and Loreto exits, near
Camerino.
The indictments are for 18 persons and four companies
involved in the probe, for commissioning works, tendering them
and then subcontracting them.
Prosecutor Irene Bilotta has charged those probed with
culpable negligent manslaughter as well as vehicular homicide.
They are also charged with violating norms on safety and
security in the workplace.
Among those charged are officials at Autostrade per L'Italia
(ASPI).
