(ANSA) - Caserta, July 17 - A 53-year-old support teacher was
arrested Wednesday for slapping a 14-year-old autistic student
near Caserta.
The man allegedly mistreated the student on several
occasions, slapping him, pushing and pulling him, and gripping
his head and neck tightly, police said.
The probe started in March after parents noted their son's
"malaise", police said.
The teacher was placed under house arrest.
