(ANSA) - Rome, May 20 - Environmental group Legambiente
released its Beach Litter 2019 report Monday, an analysis of
rubbish content across 400,000 square metres on 93 Italian
beaches, which revealed that there are an average of 10 pieces
of rubbish per metre and 81% of the rubbish is plastic.
