Govt to allocate 10mn to milk crisis

(ANSA) - Rome, February 22 - The government is preparing to allocate 10 million euros to a fund to overcome the crisis in the milk and cheese market, according to the draft of a decree that ANSA has seen. Dairy farmers have dumped milk in the streets on several occasions in recent weeks as part of protests against plummeting prices.
    The government has pledged to help them.
