Hospital waiting lists deal reached

(ANSA) - Rome, February 21 - Representatives of Italy's regions on Thursday reached a deal on a national plan to cut hospital waiting lists. Under the plan, local healthcare agency (ASL) managers will be removed if they do meet targets for waiting lists, sources said.
    In Italy regional governments have a lot of autonomy over health policy.
