Raggi says confidence in DG over AMA

(ANSA) - Rome, February 20 - Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said Wednesday she had full confidence in Franco Giampaoletti, the director general of her council, in a probe into trash collection agency AMA.
    "Full confidence in Giampaoletti...I'm happy that the magistrature is clearing up debts that that date back to around 10 years ago," she said.
    "We are doing a clean-up operation in the various balance sheets and AMA is part of this operation, because clarity in accounts is the base to build solid foundations".
