Mum drugs daughter, stepfather abuses he

(ANSA) - Genoa, February 18 - A mother plied her 17-year-old daughter with drugs and drink until she was incapable and was then sexually abused by her partner, the girl's stepfather, police said Monday.
    The couple was arrested by the Genoa flying squad.
    Police found on the man's cellphone text messages in which he told her he deserved to go to jail for what he had done to her.
    The pair, aged 38 and 39, have been charged with gang raping the girl.
    The drug they used on her was a benzodiazepine commonly known as the rape drug, police said.
