Teachers to remain at same school 5 yrs

(ANSA) - Rome, January 22 - A proposed amendment to the government's simplification decree would require public school teachers at all grade levels to remain at the same school for the first five years after their permanent hiring. Currently this regulation applies only to middle and high school teachers.
    The proposal has been filed but not yet approved.
