Snowboarder falls and dies at Courmayeur

(ANSA) - Courmayeur, January 10 - An Italian snowboarder died after falling in an off-piste area at the resort of Courmayeur on Thursday.
    The accident happened in the area of Plan de la Gabba.
    According to early reports the young man fell after a rock jump.
    Another snowboarder was with him, and raised the alarm.
    An emergency team could do nothing for him.
