TAR gives Capitano Ultimo escort back

(ANSA) - Rome, December 19 - The Lazio regional administrative court (TAR) on Wednesday restored the police escort of Carabinieri Colonel Sergio De Caprio, the so-called 'Capitano Ultimo' (last captain) who arrested late Cosa Nostra boss of bosses Totò Riina in January 1993.
    The TAR upheld De Caprio's appeal against the interior ministry's September 3 decision, sources told ANSA.
    A car was torched Tuesday outside De Caprio's home on the outskirts of Rome.
    The vehicle, an Audi, was stolen.
