(ANSA) - Savona, December 18 - An 18-year-old woman set
herself alight early on Tuesday in a square in the northern town
of Vado Ligure, near Savona, sources said.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed the scene and the woman is
alive, although she has serious burns and is being treated in
Genoa's San Martino hospital.
In 2013 the woman's father, a 47-year-old artisan, committed
suicide by self immolating in the same square.
