(ANSA) - Rome, December 18 - The opposition centre-left
Democratic Party said Tuesday that it has presented a petition
against senior journalistic appointments at State broadcaster
RAI.
The appointments included top posts at the news services of
RAI's three main terrestrial channels.
The PD called on the audit court and the anti-corruption
authority to look at whether irregularities had led to the loss
of public money.
RAI said the rules of the collective contract for journalists
had been followed.
