Two more held over night-club disaster

(ANSA) - Ancona, December 10 - Two more people have been detained in relation to the stampede on Friday that claimed six lives, including those of five minors, during a rap concert at a night club in Corinaldo, near Ancona, sources said Monday.
    A 15-year-old had already been held in relation to the case.
    They are currently being held over alleged drugs offences but the charges could change within hours, the sources said.
    The stampede may have been caused by people panicking after pepper spray was used at the venue.
    Investigators are looking at the hypothesis that gang of youths who set out to rob their peers at the club may have tried to use the pepper spray to cover up their get-away. Investigators are also looking into whether the club sold more tickets to the event that the venue could safety hold.
