(ANSA) - Rome, November 21 - The demolition of eight villas
seized from the Roman Casamonica crime family on Tuesday began
on Wednesday.
A bulldozer started demolishing the first villa in the
presence of Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi, who has called the
seizure and destruction of the villas "historic".
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said "I won't stop till the
last villa is gone".
The luxurious items found in the lavishly appointed villas
were shown on TV Tuesday.
