(ANSA) - Rome, October 26 - Lello Di Segni, the last survivor
of the 1943 raid on the Rome's ghetto to deport Jews to Nazi
death camps, died overnight, the city's Jewish Community said
Friday.
More than 1,000 Roman Jews were deported to Nazi death
camps in 1943, and only a handful returned.
Di Segni, 92, survived Auschwitz concentration camp.
