Woman killed as car hits bar tables

(ANSA) - Brescia, October 15 - A 45-year-old died in Brescia's Civili Hospital after a car hit her while she was sitting outside a bar on Monday, local sources said.
    The accident took place in Via Milano in the northern Italian city near Milan, sources said.
    The car reportedly swerved into the tables outside the bar in order to avoid crashing into another car.
    The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, and died soon after arrival. The woman lived near the bar where she was killed, sources said later.
    The driver of the car that hit her was a 61-year-old woman, also resident in Via Milano, who had just left home.
