(ANSA) - Cagliari, October 10 - Bad weather hit Sardinia on
Wednesday with the coast from Cagliari to Ogliastra lashed by
torrential rain and flooding.
Four people were rescued after a river broke its banks near
the Sardinian capital.
In the Ogliastra area, there was flooding that caused two
schools to be closed while the wall of a sports field collapsed.
Another two schools were closed in southern Sardinia.
