Burqa ban set to come into force in town

(ANSA) - Vercelli, October 8 - A burqa ban is set to come into force later this week at Trino near Vercelli.
    Burqa wearers will be fined 500 euros, said migrants municipal pointman Roberto Rosso.
    "The ordinance is aimed at the two or three women in Trino who wear the burqa," he said, calling it a "primitive practice".
    Trino is run by the anti-migrant League party.
