(ANSA) - Catanzaro, October 5 - The Calabrian civil
protection office on Friday issued a red alert for bad weather
in Catanzaro and Crotone.
From 13:00 to 24:00 Friday critical weather conditions are
forecast especially in coastal areas with scattered rain and
thunderstorms, strong gales in all areas and a strong chance of
flooding and mudslides, it said.
An orange alert is foreseen for the rest of the Calabria
region.
This latter alert will remain Saturday for the whole of the
region.
