(ANSA) - Bologna, September 20 - A man strangled his mother
and then committed suicide by throwing himself off a bridge near
Reggio Emilia On Thursday, local sources said.
The man's body was found at Ponte Secchia, an area of Baiso,
underneath a provincial road's viaduct.
Police checked a residence at Sassuolo near Modena where they
found the woman's body.
They are treating the matter as a murder-suicide.
