(ANSA) - Massa, September 19 - The head of the general
medicine department of Massa's Noa Hospital has been put under
investigation in a probe into the deaths of 33 people in the
Tuscan city, La Stampa reported on Wednesday.
It is suspected that the deaths could be linked to infections
contracted at the hospital.
Prosecutors have reportedly requested the clinical files of
the dead people from the local health authority.
