(ANSA) - Rome, September 17 - Fifteen out of a group of 17
Tunisians awaiting expulsion from Italy were not taken back to
the centre for repatriation (CPR) but were only given their
expulsion papers, because there were no places for them at the
CPR, the Italian Interior Ministry said on Monday.
The migrants were part of a group of migrants who missed
repatriation last Thursday due to a broken aircraft for a
charter flight that was supposed to bring them back to Tunisia.
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said he has asked for "more
details" on the situation.
