(ANSA) - Caltanissetta, May 24 - Former head of Confindustria
employers' group Sicilian branch Sicindustria Antonello Montante
was taken from house arrest to detention in jail Thursday after
trying to tamper with evidence. Montante was placed under house
arrest on May 14 on charges of conspiracy to commit corruption.
