(ANSA) - Venice, April 16 - A 44-year-old Italian man is in a
serious condition in hospital after defending his girlfriend
from the clumsy advances of a drunken man in a nightclub near
Venice Sunday night.
The aggressor allegedly also slapped the woman after brutally
beating the man outside the premises, sources said.
The incident happened at Concordia Sagittaria.
