51 nabbed for stealing solar panels (2)

(ANSA) - Livorno, November 10 - Italian police on Friday arrested 51 Moroccan nationals on suspicion of stealing solar panels across Italy.
    The suspected gang allegedly operated in seven Italian regions: Tuscany, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria, Abruzzo and Emilia-Romagna.
    They allegedly trafficked the panels between Italy and Morocco, police said.
    The panels were stolen on commission, they said.
    More than 15,000 panels were stolen and sold in Morocco to the tune of eight million euros, police said.
