from the Marche region died yesterday in a fall from her hotel
in the Chinese city of Wuxi where she was working as a

Anna Tiberi from Fabriano near Ancona, who had a degree in
translation from Siena's University for Foreigners, is believed
to have fallen by accident from the third-floor window.
She fell about ten metres and died instantly.
"We are following the case with the foreign ministry," said
Ancona Prefect Antonio D'Acunto.
"For the moment we don't know anything else. We express our
condolences to the family".
Two officials from Italy's consulate in Shanghai have gone to
Wuxi and are working in close liaison with the local police,
