(ANSA) - Rieti, September 26 - Some 120 Romans are under
investigation for having moved their residency status from the
Italian capital to the quake-hit Lazio village of Amatrice in
order to fraudulently claim post-quake housing benefits, sources
said Tuesday.
The suspects are liable to face charges of fraud and making
false public statements, Rieti Chief Prosecutor Giuseppe Saieva
told ANSA.
