(ANSA) - Rome, August 14 - The Carabinieri NAS health and
hygiene police said Monday they had found "no anomalies" in a
nationwide sweep for eggs contaminated with the pesticide
Fipronil.
They said the sweep would however continue for some days
until the alarm over the international case has abated.
A similar meat sweep was taking place, they said.
