(ANSA) - Rome, August 14 - Italian counterfeiting gangs are
making false one and two-euro coins, police said Monday.
"The summer is a golden period for the counterfeiters," they
said.
Until now the forging gangs, many of them based in Naples,
had concentrated on banknotes.
