(ANSA) - Lodi, July 17 - A ticket inspector who reported
being stabbed by a black man while working on a regional train
service on the Piacenza to Milan Greco Pirelli line last week
made up the whole thing, prosecutors in Lodi said on Thursday.
Investigators said they wrapped up the case quickly after
studying railway video surveillance. The man is accused of
calumny and faking a crime.
