(ANSA) - Rome, July 26 - Six regions have presented requests
for a state of calamity to be declared to enable special
measures to face the drought emergency, ANSA learned on
Wednesday following a technical meeting at the agriculture
ministry. The regions are Tuscany, Lazio, Campania,
Emilia-Romagna, Calabria and Sardinia.
