(ANSA) - Paris, July 19 - France is considering taking a
"pause" on the high-speed rail (TAV) line from Turin to Lyon but
does not mean to give up on the project, Transport Secretary
Elizabeth Borne said Wednesday. The TAV line has been held up
over the years by sometimes violent protests in the Val di Susa
area north of Turin.
