180 'fake poor' nabbed in Turin

(ANSA) - Turin, May 8 - Italian police on Monday said they had nabbed 180 "fake poor" people in Turin.
    The individuals, some of them well-off, got out of paying university fees, got free council accommodation, obtained discounts on water and gas bills, and did not pay for school meals, police said.
    Police said they had recovered over 550,000 euros in unpaid money.
